Mig 205te turbo mig welder need advice

hi im chris im doing up a old classic mini i brought a mig welder from clarke which is mig 205te turbo. i am welding thin metal (body pannels) its no more than 1mm im using 5% argon mix-co2 no matter what i seem to do it just blows holes state through. im using 0.6 wire, amps on 1 which is 30 amps ( goes up to 180 amps) and the wire feed just above 2. i was wondering if anyone had any advice on how i can get over this problem much appreciated chris.

Thin metal normally takes a multiple tack welding type approach to do. You can weld continuously if you are really skilled, but you'll get a fair bit of distortion. See Malcome's guide on this,

The wire setting of 2 may be too low (if my clarke welder is anything to go by) so perhaps check this out.
Set wire speed

Welding sheet metal is not the easiest to learn on (if you are learning). So practice plenty and make sure you penetrate through consistently before you nail the car back together.

Saw this the other day and thought it was helpful to set up a mig.
