Hi,
First post here and looking at what's available in TIG welders for use on general farm repairs and maintenance but also and more specifically for knife making / jewellery work welding thin Sterling Silver and gold to titanium and steel
I've been looking at machines that will go to a few amps and can do very short spot welds. Have demoed a Kemppi Mastertig which has a “Microtack” function going down to 1 milliseconds and a Fronius Magicwave which goes down to 20 milliseconds, I was impressed by both machines but are there any other general purpose TIG welders I should take a look at ?
Any opinion on which TIG welder on the market is the best a producing and holding a smooth stable arc at low amps ?
Thank you
