Hi.
This coming weekend I will be bracing up my MGB GT and cutting out one of the old sills. (outer and inner on this side). The new parts are currently on display in my living room
Got to change the drivers side sill and floor completely. So I thought I would go for the passenger side first ( Outer sill, inner Sill to be changed). Door step and castle rail still look perfect after some exploritory cutting)
The sills were badly changed by a local garage about 5 years ago. but at least the castle and door step were properly protected on the passenger side. I think they got bored after that. I ramble
I plan to plug weld the new inner sill and out sill to the door step through 8mm Diameter holes. Can anyone suggest a recommended distance between hole centres for the plug welds for a proper job.
Many thanks
Chris
