So having watched some of it (and seen most of it) I can say its clear they are not engineers, nor welders or even metal workers but artists who use metal. Its intersting to watch but to be honest it was more back ground noise than anything (and the presenter was annoying, it felt like a panto with him trying to be funny and it not being) 3/10.... would not advise!

Not seen it but not surprised by the descriptions above. To be fair, welders aren't artists (usually) and artists aren't welders.

What gets up my schnozz about shows like this is, there are truly amazing tradesmen in America, and over here and everywhere else, but the programme makers always have to ruin things with the idiots they have on, the fake drama "Will they finish it on time", "Can they make the unveiling" all this muck, fake arguments in the "American chopper" mould, bellowing back and forth, then get the office chairs flying.
Its why Youtube is winning, if you search you can find amazing people doing amazing things. Case in point, an American (where else) woman machinist making an single action revolver by herself at home !

I've just seen the trailer but I reconed Tom Patsis being on the show and he's quite an artist and race car welder too

Dont think any of them know what air fed is over there , Life spans for welders cant be good with that
