metal prep acid and dinatrol

Hi guys just a quick question to pick your brains. What is the best metal cleaner on the market for cleaning light rust ? Its for when i have bare metalled a panel and still have some light pittiness of flash rust left after whire wheeling. i want something which isnt a long winded step and has no problem with acid etch being applied after. i have heard of phosphoric acid based ones.

Also after using a light coat of dinatrol rc900 (converust) will it be ok to use etch on top of it as i cant find much data for this product.

never heard of dinatrol but phosphoric acid will passivate the surface. Iron Phosphate combats corrosion, if you can add some zinc it gets better. We used to use old battery casings but they are rare these days. Perhaps a chunk of heavily galved plate would help. Dunk it in for a few hours before you treat your bits.
Sulphuric is better at removing the rust.
