Don't know if its possible to get galvanised steel that thin. I assumed the heat would warp it.
Once formed, though, they become more rigid, so maybe galvanise them afterwards?
Whereabouts are you? Do you need them quickly? Once formed, will you be welding the corners up?

Oi! You've edited your post since my reply, and now it looks as if I wasn't listening properly!
More seriously though, I had been thinking, if you were nearby, you could have come by and sat around while I did 'em (or did them here yourself, instead - while I loafed about!), but Wigans a fair old distance from here, so not such a brilliant plan, after all.
It doesn't sound too tricky, though - so I expect there'll be someone here soon with some more (local) ideas!

Very easy job, 26gauge is very thin to weld the corners though. Id think almost any sheet metalworking place could bend them up, perhaps up the thickness, to a more commonly stocked thickness, and can you reduce the size fractionally? The size you want will be quite wastefull to cut from sheets. Cut the 48" down to 47" and you save a fair bit of money id imagine.
24x48, youd get 3 per 2.5x1.25 sheet, (4 sheets)
24x48, youd get 1 per sheet, (10 sheets)
24x48, youd get 3 per 2.5x1.25 sheet, (4 sheets)

No problem reducing size and thickness for sumthing more commonly stocked,
got 2 quoats yesterday £70.89 each and £46.50 each

No worries, only joking! It's normally something I haven't noticed - I was just getting a bit indignant and noisy!
Those quotes are quite far apart, too!
Not sure you could really reduce the thickness by much/anything, though.

PS:- Mrs Joe has seen more than a few steel trays being made - I wont put her exact words, but "opportunity" doesn't come into her description!
