hiya does anyone now where can get hold of large mild steel hemispheres?? around 800mm

what sort thing have you made by them???? anything simular to what im after?

I've used them in stainless to make round bottom mixing vessels for the food industry, and had a pair spun to make a large stainless ball for a sculpture, sometimes they come with a small hole in the middle where they are mounted on the former, easy enough to weld up though,

I had some 12.5mm thick dished ends done by them, 875 dia (On Paul's recommendation). I found them very easy to deal with.

Is it thick or thin stuff? Some thin stuff can be spun rather than pressed.

thickness around 4mm ish or slightly thinker just idea im working on so all depends what easier for them and price..

Did you manage to find anyone that could sort them for you?
