Metal Cutting Chop Saw Disc

Does anyone know whether you can get a grinding disk for a Parkside chop saw?

The wood blade is 210x30 but I'm looking for a disk that will cut mild steel (2mm box, plate) not particuarly heavy duty.

I don't really want to buy another saw unless I really have to as I'd like to try and use what I already have but the metal blades I have seen (similar to the wood blades) either don't work at the 5000rpm the saw runs at, doesn't tell me what rpm they do run at or will only cut aluminium and alloys.

Does anyone know of a suitable blade or has done this themselves?

Are you on about a mitre saw? If so, a multipurpose circular saw blade is your best bet really.

Never seen a mitre saw fitted with a abrasive disc myself.

I'm beginning to wonder whether the abrasive disks exist for these as I've never seen one and was beginning to wonder whether I was searching for the right thing!!

They are not designed to take an abrasive disc, they are for cutting wood not metal that's why they run at 5,000 rpm and depend on speed not torque and lower revs.

I use a similar setup,i get part worn 230mm? discs to fit inside the guard,the centre hole is a bit bigger so made an adaptor (2mm i think) and that works really well.
