metal bandsaw horizontal

looking for a good reliable band saw for cutting flat bar 50 by 10 mm and box section up to 100mm sq
been looking at the saws in machine mart shop in edinburgh
is the clarke make any good
any recommendations without breaking the bank

The Clarke ones are just more or less the same as all the rest of the people selling similar saws, they are just generic Chinese saws with a different colour and badge on them.
The boatyard has one, a 7" x ? and it is reasonable for what it is. Not a patch on the Imet I have but the Imet new would be probably about 5x the price.

One of the best places to get blades is Tuff Saws in Wales, he will make them up to suit and he only uses top quality stock.
