METABO W8-115 grinder

Does anyone happen to know whether on the metabo w8-115 grinder the on off switch is locked in either the on or off position until you manually switch it on or off or whether its the kind you need to keep pressed down to use the machine and then turns the machine off when you let go, i know it sounds funny but i prefer the machines where you need to keep the switch pressed as its quicker to turn them off if something goes wrong, thanks

I've got the basic W8 and the switch definitely clicks and stays on - I think I remember seeing a variant of the W8 with a non-latching switch but I'm not sure.

You only need to touch the back of Metabo switches down to switch off not pull the switch so they are quick to activate. I prefer latching switches as they don't put strain on my hand or wrist as you can change grip position.

Metabo angle grinders have one of the best switches for me.
I agree with pedrobedro (touch the back of Metabo switches down to switch off)!
Definitely stay on as much as you want !
Metabo do the best angle grinder , and to be good mean all the components is good even the minor detail like the switch.Overthere is where the most companies fail in the Details
I recently purchase one . hope my wife not a member in this site!
