Been doing my swede in the last week researching, reading and surfing for info on what Mig to get.
I only need a hobby one, but I like my tools and quality, so was shooting higher and thought the Kemppi evo 200 would be the choice.
No need looking at the bigger machines, I wanted inverter and portable... ish.
My Fusion 180 MMA is good, but with 1.5mm steel my skill at making blow holes is better than the welding.
I do like German products, safe bet with their engineering. They make a lot of welders, but expensive in general. Quality normally is. I stumbled on the Merkle and a UK supplier. The supplier was really good and helpful and not pushy at all.I decided this was probably the machine for me. The video of the Christmas tree welding is awesome.
Too expensive, spec and build more than I may need, but impressed and would not be happy going for less.
Just wonder why I haven´t read that much on this forum and I have been a member for a long time.
So, has anyone an opinion on this make?
