I am in need of a little information from members that are currently doing any welding.
What i need is travel speeds for mig welding on various thickness of plate. in simple terms how much weld you can do in one minute. I realise on car body thickness you dont continuously weld but 25mm stitch runs. time for a stitch run will be fine as i can multiply it up to obtain a minute.
so if anyone is welding tommorrow and they can spare the time to record the info that would be most helpful.
if its car body thickness you will most likely be doing lap welds. on thicker material its butt weld times i need.
The main thickness i need info for are 0.8mm (carbody) 1.2mm, 1.5mm, 2mm, 3mm and 5mm.
Any help in this would be most helpful.
