If they take their personal safety lightly, it doesn't mean information on the site is useless. I've not read through that site, but I'm guessing there's some usable info on there? Obviously though, his safety methods aren't to be followed, by the sounds of it.![]()
When it comes to casting I am afraid everything comes after safety! Only ever done a little Ali and a fair bit of lead but you do need to be seriously careful, frankly I should rather put in an overhead weld wearing only swimming trunks. I remember the picture on the wall at college of a fella with his face a night mess but for round his eyes were he wore goggles clear and my wife's grandfather who had half a foot after a 1950s accident at a foundry. Its not a process to mess with or get cocky about, all it takes is a fault or a tiny bit of water
