Anybody got/used one of these tools? It is basically a angle grinder but more specialised. It is designed for removing paint and rust and vinyl from steel and such. German and expensive. I got one off the ebay and it came with the handbook and a few of the bristle belts along with the vinyl zapper wheel. These belts and zapper wheels are fitted on a carrier that mounts to the driving head, just like you would to the angle grinder. It is held in place with a allen headed bolt but the thing is there is no lock button or the like to hold the drive still while you tighten the bolt! There is no space beneath the carrier to lock the drive either! Any thoughts from a user of one of these?

And no. No mention of any method of tightening anywhere. Tried the book as a last resort.

I Have had it off and on by using a screw driver blade placed in one of the carriers peripheral holes and then the 5mm allan key to undo/do the centre bolt but I am surprised that a tool so expensive as this when new does not have a drive lock as part of the design. By the way it was very tight to undo!
Use a cordless ( or air ) impact driver or impact wrench with a 5mm allen bit. The high speed and impact action will tighten or loosen while inertia alone will provide enough resistance. Just make sure you set the correct direction of rotation !
Good idea but not if you don't own such a tool!
