how much power does a 230v welding set being used at 160 amps use if it was being run for a full 10 mins. cheers lee

you would have to look at the rating plate on the machine for maximum consumption but (as a guide)
if you were using a full 13 amps which would be close to 3000 watts depending on the voltage being supplied at the time you would have used 1 half of a kwh
