Material required puzzle ?

I'm having a mental block of an afternoon and I need to solve this :-

I have to cut 8 pieces of ply with a base of 93cm, 2 sides of 129cm but with an apex squared off at 10cm wide.
Cut from standard sheets of 244cm x 122cm, how many sheets do I need ?

Hello Tigler,

I reckon you will get three per sheet so three sheets total, with a lot of waste? To double check, cut out a template to scale and try it on a sheet to the same scale?

Thanks, LOL !! I was mentally thinking that but to be sure I just drew it out to scale and it is 3, just !!

like this?, 3 per sheet easily, but If you could reduce the 930 base a bit you could squeeze 4 out, this sketch dosen't allow for the saw cut width, and the vertical height is 1.4mm wider than the sheet

Thanks for that. It has to be 93cm to fit an existing arrangement, so plenty of waste

Biscuit or finger joint the waste, then glue it with Polyurethane adhesive

Biscuit wouldn't work on 1/4 ply and I don't have the equipment for either anyway !
