Master 2500 feed shut off

Can anyone who has a master 2500 tell me if you have an auto traverse cut off to disengage drive.

I thought mine had one. I know my Raglan had one that hit a physical stop and tripped the feed lever.

i checked the Master 2500 but can't find anything that could trip the lever now.

I was thinking of trying my auto disengage on the triumph with the chuck off so it cant run into anything but need to study the manual better as not sure if it 100% has one and how it works.

I think there may be a knurled wheel on the side of the apron for adjusting the pressure of knock off.

It is the black knob I am meaning. On the Triumph it is a knurled steel wheel but that image is from a Master 2500 I grabbed off the net so it seems it is a black plastic wheel on them.

If yours is a Triumph with the single feed engage lever that you pull up to engage then it should have the knock off built into it. Just rotate the lever/knob in or out to adjust.

I presumed the feed. It may also work on the cross slide as well as if I remember correctly it is tied into the feed shaft drive.

I have just looked at your thread on the Triumph and it is the older style with the slide to engage feed or surfacing so afraid I am not sure how it works on that.

Yeah that black knob did ring a bell.

So if I adjust it it will trip if the carriage runs into a bed clamp..?

At the moment it just pushes the bed clamp completely along..lol

Cross slide and feed are selected via a push pull knob.

But I an not sure how you would create resistance/stop for the cross slide.

The bed has adjustable clamps .

Hood is correct, the knob on the side of the carrage works for both carriage and cross slide.
