Hello
My name is Henry Henry from China who is interested in welding. I know how to the welding symbols but I do not know how to mark the welding on the finished products? Do we have the symbols for the finished welding?
To illustrate my question, I would like to post one setence which puzzles me:
"When the welds are ground, to mark the joint plane by engraving symmetrical marks on four lines at 90 degrees for a circular weld or ta the two ends for a longitudinal weld".
My questions about the above setence is: why do we mark the grounded weld on the finished products? and according to the sentence how do I mark the grounded weld? Can you help me with this sentence and make a sketch how to mark the weld symbols for both the circualr weld and the longitudinal weld? do we have a universal marking symbol for the finished weld?
Thank you very much.
All Best
Henry Henry
