manifold problem

my mother's old car has a cracked manifold the car is not a wort a lot but is due an mot and if it doesn't pass I'll have to buy one for her it's a seat Ibiza the bolts holding on the manifold are pretty rusty looking and I don't fancy their chances of coming out without ringing off I was just wondering is there any product on the market that I could use to seal up the cracks or some useful tips on how to get the bolts out and what happens if I ring one in the block

if you have a welder just weld it its not a structual weld you are after so strength is not an issue, just to seal the crack and make it gas tight

thats plan B its the flange that is cracked where one of the bolts goes through

yes snooper its making quite a bit of noise I can't see all the manifold with air intake cover so there might be more cracks than what I can see ill try and get a closer look tomorrow there seems to be enough of room to get at it with a rod once the cover comes off

i think i would try taking the manifold off using six sided sockets so as not to round off the nuts which are sometimes quite badly rusted on exhaust manifolds then if all goes well just replace it, or if you cant get one weld it

I give it a try to tomorrow if I can weld in place it'll be the simplest solution
