Not heard about them . BUT I have heard road charging is coming in soon to offset the fuel duty and VAT lost.Have the bonuses of no catalytic convertor nor fuel to steal been used to justify going electric

That was on the MSN blurb on my home page a couple of days ago ... a leaked article to se what the public response is before putting it up as a proposal in the HoP as tracked pay per mile , with a basic allowance of mileage included in the licence payment ...no refunds if you don't use it all either .Well of course it is, as it should. Trouble is I suspect they'll impose pay per mile on ice engined cars as well, just to keep the sweetener.

The government of the day who ever it is will be looking to squeeze every penny out of those who can afford the luxury of a motor vehicle . Ukraine & covid aren't going to be cheap that's for sure.
As a spotty youth I had a subscription to Elektor magazine, electronic projects you could build at home.Lol lol..
24/7 solar generation, now that would be something...
Tandy had a brilliant book that went with a boxed set of wireable circuits with explanations of what each component did in the circuit and the mathematics for working values out .I miss Tandy and all the interesting stuff
Loved the electronics kit as a lad
That pretty much just says it's because they cost twice as much, on average, to buy in the first place, and more to insure. But they managed to pad it out into a 2000 word essay.Drivers warned switching to an EV might not reduce costs
