There appears to be a few different models of the brushless 115/125 battery grinders of the same diameters, anyone know of benefits or limitations within these models? Thanks.
I was looking at them ( 4½" /115mm / LXT) the other day.
A 469 only took those funny Bosch discs with a X in the middle.
A 467 had a regular threaded spindle and a paddle switch. I think the 463 is the same but with a slide and lock switch. These were all LXT 18v.
There's a big Makita PDF with all the specs stuff in and the stuff made in the UK has a flag against it. I was surprised to see my ugga dugga is Made in UK.
Those "Funny Bosch discs" are a godsend. Disc change in 10 seconds, cheap as chips from Toolstation. I have one and prefer X-Lock over traditional 23mm ones. Personal preference I know, but worth trying IMO.
