I've got 4 of these and have had for many years. What I don't like is the thumb switch. It needs 2 hands to operate and then locked into position. So basically not a thumb switch. Or am I missing something?
What does the panel think?
on a different make had a similar prob......
I cut a leading edge on the catch of the switch so it now works fine....(so the catch raises of over the initial lock bar) .....did it with a stanley knife.....
no need to take the machine apart, well on this one....been good for a coupleof years now....
I just push down on the back of the switch and push forward with the ball of my thumb. I'm usually holding the side handle with my left hand so it's a two handed operation anyway.
