Today the second 110v Makita 2406 turned up. I had recently bought a rough 240v version of the same drill missing the side handle, bad case and bad chuck.
So the plan is to use the mint case, handle, case and chuck from this 110v one.
Questions please - this second drill appeared to have alot more grease in there. Does that look normal or are these not supposed to have much grease in there?

Maybe my other one didn't have enough grease as it was basically empty/ dry apart from metal fillings!
Second bonus question- what would be the differences between the 110v and 240v armatures? Don't worry I wont mix them up but they appear identical to me but have different part numbers

I need new bearings for the 240v one - its also a little worn at the splined end but I hope with the better gearbox from this 110v one ill have a usable drill.
