Makita 2414k help

Wondering if anyone has any knowledge of these saws, the threaded part that the brush holder threads into has disintergrated and I cant see that part seperately on any of the makita parts diagrams. Any body know if you can detatch that part from the motor housing or get it seperatelyat all? I have a new 2414nb but its 240v and my old 'K' model is 110v for site work.

It looks like the whole motor casing is listed for what you need. Use hot melt glue sparingly to hold the cap in place when you fit the new brushes and they should come back out when you need to do them again.

Thanks for the replys. Thats the same diagram as I have, its looking like they are part of the housing. Hot glue may be the answer or a non conductive resin of some sort.
