I saw a Youtube vid where a guy had fitted a vibrator underneath his cheapy grit blast cab to ensure the media trickles down the sloping bottom panels to the pickup tube of the gun. I think it it was just an electric motor on to which he had mounted an off-set piece of metal on the rotor. I found a nice 12VDC motor salvaged from a tyre inflator pump and mounted a small piece of lead off-centre on the rotor, and holding it in my hand, it wobbles like mad. The problem I have now is quite how to mount it on the underside of the cab to get good vibrations transferred in to the floor. I thought I would mount the motor on a small piece of sheet metal (say 50x75mm), possibly with a hinge at the end remote from the lead weight, and then maybe some rubber mount at the leaded end?
Anyone been down this path previously or got some ideas?
