If you want to spend some money, there are some that are switch operated, Stronghand make good ones in a variety of shapes, or adjustable.

Get the switched variety, look for 'magswitch' on eBay and you should find a massive selection.
Fixed ones are horrible, not least because every bit of grinding dust sticks to them and they're also harder to position being 'on' all the time.
