Magbroach MD50 Magnetic Drill

Anyway having joined this forum today i decided i would drop a line and see what the opinions are on a Magbroach MD50 magnetic drill. i purchased this unit about 6 months ago and am very very happy with its performance and robustness. originally i had looked around suppliers in southern ireland for a suitable machine (i.e. 2 speed gearbox, and a 50mm diameter cutting capacity) the only machines that i could find in my budget were single speed units of 30-35 mm capacity, looked at BDS, evolution, jancy, dewalt etc and dealers were lookin for crazy money. And i needed 50mm capacity for category 2 sleeves for stone fork tines. So anyway just when i had given up i came across Magbroach UK and sent them a mail, anyhow they wanted 480 pounds including vat for the unit i also ordered about ten cutters and a gallon of cutting fluid and they gave me a real good discount on them as well. i have cut at least 100 holes in everything up to inch plate with no problem and the company were very easy to deal with.
