Mag drills in your pillar drill

Can you use mag drill/broach cutter bits in your pillar drill using an adaptor like this?
If this adaptor is what is needed what speed should i set the belts at on my 2MT Meddings?

Mag drill cutters can be used in a pillar drill with this type of adapter. Don't spend 70 quid on it tho - there are cheaper ones on ebay. Tend to get a bit more vibration with the adapter than in a normal mag drill - gives quite a lot of chatter, especially on the larger cutter sizes.
Speed wise...depends on the size of the cutter you are using in the adapter.

I have one, got it off of ebay, £20 iirc. it does the job but as paul says you get a lot of vibration and chatter off of it,also its better to either bolt down what your drilling or hold it in a vice to try and reduce that.
