I am making a blast cabinet, was going to do it ages ago with an oil drum that someone donated to me but it was'nt good enough so I chopped it in half and want to make a stand and brackets to make it in to a big BBQ.
I started making a box out of wood and it all stalled through lack of enthusiasm, but started again yesterday.
I needed to cut holes for the arm holes that the gloves would be attached to so I borrowed a router from a fella at work but wanted some sort of guide for it so I could cut decent circles.
I just wanted to make something functional I know my welding is complete crap but it is just a bracket for this purpose, I'm not going to be trying to weld anything important like my car (yet). I need LOTS more practice.
Here it is, it's just three bits of flat bar with a couple of holes drilled and some cut down M6 bolts that stick out a bit on the underside to attach to the router and to fit into a drilled hole at the centre of the required circle.
It bloody worked though
Here is the router it needs to fit on to. You can see the two holes I am going to use on the side closest to the camera
The bracket
The two together
The two studs on the strip on the upper left slip in to the mounting holes on the router and the sungle stud is what sits in the centre hole you drill before you make the circle..
I need more wire though, mines almost run out. Thans Gav, I'd never have tried this if it wasn't for your help
