Made me a Bridge ... kind of

So having been a little slack with the hole uploading of pictures since I took them but this is the bridge and gates I made a few months back.

11 m long and weighed in around 1.6 tonnes when fabrication was complete. Wood to be added



Notice the rookie-ish mistake on the gate ... opps, thats what happens when you arent paying attention.

Though the gates are pretty well hung

Well what can I say ... I work in the desert

Yep and its this summers project. Its in need of some serious TLC though, the bulk head, rear cross member and chassis rails are well over due for an appointment with a grinder and welder me thinks. There has been talk of getting the donor bulkhead galvanized just to give it a slightly longer life, but we shall see

Though the upgraded inter cooler and MASSIVE turbo ( its 100% greater capacity) that have been added to the every so slightly tweaked 300 tdi engine keep it chugging up hill with 3.5t behind it like a charm.

Though on the flip side its a long way from the original vehical that left the factory those 25 years ago. The list of original parts would be quite short I feel.
