You often get tied into there approved contractors for removal and delivery as well.
They normally have pick ups tied up in red tape, public liability insurance, tested and certs for lifting gear, same goes for and services that have to be disconnected. And a clause to make good the site once machine removed, ie. cutting off floor bolts that sort of thing. Risk assessments and method statements.
Have seen a few people get bitten over the years bid, turn up with a van or trailer and get turned away from site.
