Machinery Paint

I was wondering what would be the best paint to use on machinery? I am looking to restore my drill press and power hacksaw, so I am going to strip it to bare metal and paint it again. I was thinking of epoxy priming it and topcoating it with 2k. What do you guys recommend?

i used some quick drying polyurethane enamle from these guys here:

its not cheap, but a little goes a long way and it covers very well and the finish is excellent. but as everyone will tell you its all in the prep !!!

i would necessarily strip back to bare metal, because unlike some of the modern rubbish, a lot of British machinery is filled than sanded smooth, so a good rub down might suffice???

Epoxy primer and 2k single stage will give the best long lasting finish. You will probably need a bit of matting agent in the 2k though to get that sheen.
