machineing help req please

Is there anybody within 15 miles radius of coventry that could do some milling and turning for me as im doing a little project BROWN and PURPLE beer tokens
waiting to give away,
I was in engineering for 25 years and could of dont it myself if i could get my hands on the equipment but been out of it for 4 1/2 years now so would be rusty,,, , All i will do is explain what i need done and leave you to it,

There's a shop round the corner from me, but to be honest its such a mess at the moment that nobody can get work out of them, which is why I haven't replied already. I just had to do a welding job for a customer I recommended to them because they sat on it for a month then said they were too busy to do it. I recommended them because they are good with stainless sheetwork, which I'm not set up for and I ended up having to do it in mild with my mig running 0.8 wire to get the poor customer out of a deep hole. wasn't amused and not currently sending people there, not that I don't want to help.

Hi thanks ,,, Its an on going project at the moment the urgent part is a piece of tube24" long aprox with 3/16" hole needs to be drilled out 1/4" dia x aprox 3/4" deep one end BUT its got to be true to the tube and the hole thats there !! somebody out there should be able to do it for me hopefully,,,

Sounds like you already have a good sized pilot hole. Should be an easy job for anyone with a lathe, as my neighbours do, good sized wards. I'll have a chat with Junior, who is a good bloke when he's allowed to just get on with it and see if it can't be done when senior is off somewhere out of the way and not being a nuisance...
