Machine Mart VAT Free Day

This morning I got notification of two VAT-Free days one for Sunday 2nd January and one for Sunday 9th January.

Today is Wednesday 12th January!

Yep - similar thing happened to me!

Luckily, I'd missed the first, but got my invite on Saturday, 8th Jan.

Wasn't sure if the wife had been hiding it! Mind you, I think she wished she had when I came home £140 lighter

Nip into your local machine mart and make sure that they update your address details on their system to include a valid email address. I too had a few late delivered cards but the email saved the day and i simply printed it off and it had the bar code on etc.

It was my MM that informed me that having a valid email address would guarantee me getting notification of VAT free days and also said that some 'email only' offers are sent out - although i cant say that i recall having an 'email offer' only

exact same thing happened to me.

i assumed mine got lost in the post due to the snow delays before xmas.

i didnt want anything anyway.

I haven't had one since last October I think, could do with one for now as I want a few little things

same here and a DVLA letter telling me my tax disk runs out 31st Dec 2010
