Machine Cleaning

Hi All
We're having a massive workshop clean down (5S has arrived). Does anyone have a recommendation as to what I can soak the machinery in to free off the all of the swarf and mess?
The bandsaw is the worst which I put in part down to and organic lubricant we have been using.
Any suggestions greatly appreciated.

We use something called “Citraclens” at work.
It’s a “citrus-based degreaser” and there’s not much it won’t shift.
I bought 5l of screwfix “no nonsense” stuff and other than the fact it’s clear and not greeny blue it smells exactly the same and works just as well.

We used to use some stuff when cleaning the machines in the shipyard, was great gear. Will text our mate and find out what it is

Thanks for the replies. I've ordered the screwfix solution, I'll report back as to how we get on. I'll still be interested in what you used to use though Tinbasherdan.
