Certainly dodgy. I've bought from Peter Hill before, he has an ebay site too where he shifts odds and sods, and that's not it!!
Might bid on it just to see what happens...
Anyway, reported it to ebay, see if they bother to do anything. I think not. Might help if a few others do the same.

I had just finished looking through Peter Hills' site, and it certainly is, but there does not seem to be a way to link 'the truth' in the report to ebay.

one asking if I can view on Sunday as it ticks all the boxes and is just what I have been looking for.
the second one asking if its the same lathe that was on Gumtree and why is it so cheap, is it damaged or in need of repair.
No replies so far.
just too dodgy to be true, would love to be proved wrong, but as we all say if its too good to be true, theres something wrong. zero feedback, nothing else for sale, £200 Carriage?????? all smells DODGY. Same pic as gumtree and Peter hills site, wonder if Peter knows or is he the phantom E Bay seller?

Well it went for £2250 I wonder if the buyer will get it?.
I did send Peter a message, http://www.peterhillmachinesales.com/Tel: 078 70 221 275, saying his lathe was on E bay and been on Gumtree, if it was legite I offered my apologies, but it was just very dodgy. Not had a reply to the text.

When I pointed out the contact email was mulberryhandbagoutlet@hotmail.com he felt a bit of a chump.......I dont think the web site will be there for long OOoppps.
