M18fpd drill trigger repair - parts source?

My m18 drill was a bit shifty from new. I should have sent it back but it was intermittent enough that I didn't bother.

It's lasted years but the trigger is now bothersome.

Sometimes when you pull the trigger it's fine.
Other times nothing at all. You release and press it a few times and it works again. And then stops working again a bit later.

Anyway, I'll guessing I can just get some knock of part and fit that?

The genuine switches seem to be about £30.

Probably plus vat and delivery. For a £100 drill...

When one of my batteries died, someone on here said "just get a new PCB off Ali express" which I did, for pocket change, and it continues to work fine, years later.

...so I'm hoping someone can say the same for the triggers?

My guess is that hte way you located that PCB was to go to the AliExpress site and type 'milwaukee pcb' into the search bar there.

Perhaps if you repeated that process and used 'milwaukee switch' as the search term, you would get a broad overview of what is available.

You could, pretty much, say that of any purchasing question -

"Just type it into Google"

Ive seen threads here of people repairing Milwaukee tools, and, I assume, buying parts.

Ali express seemed to be the place to buy the PCB (no, I didn't search for it - didn't know they existed, until someone said) but is where (the recommended place) to buy a trigger switch?

I (of course) had a bit of a look before I posted, but it didn't seem as clear as I thought it would be.

...hence the question.

So thats 2x spares or repair Milwaukee items fixed / cleaned up and added to my collection this week.

I may have just also won this on ebay - broken of course

Description just says "Not working". It doesn't look abused from the photos, in fact it looks near new condition. Hopefully it'll be something simple and repairable like the trigger but let's see later this week when it turns up.
