Lucas CAV dpa injection pump.

Hi all
Bit of a problem, I was asked to sort a Fiat Iveco 6 cylinder diesel in a boat. Not starting. Pulled the pump as no fuel was arriving at the injectors. The service place said that the rotory pump section had sheered due to contamination in the fuel. We are fixing the fuel problem, but they can't find parts for what is a 30yr old pump.
Any ideas for a reliable place in the UK? either exchange or used, we can send the pump over for fixing, if needed. Plate says Type: 0644. Des: 11 45 EM6

There's a instruction manual for the 4 cylinder version of that fitted to leylands which might be helpful as I think the core pump mechanism is similar just with more heads on the rotary section.

I had the same thing happen to a CAV dpa pump for the same reason (my machine had arrived with "new" filters, which turned out to be empty inside, and it ran long enough to sell it like this), and when stripped all the vanes were mangled. The s/h replacement leaked like a sieve and ran poorly so I got hold of the manual in jpg form, rebuilt it myself using the above and posted the pdf to cmm after.

We have asked the service outfit for the part no's and will then try Barking Matt's place. So far I have been trying for a replacement pump and no luck.
It seems there is a part of the drive to the HP section that is the 'weak link' and it bust before. Cut some inspection hatches in the wing tanks and found some goo in the bottom, seems that is the cause. Cleaning is going to be a nightmare. Total tankage is around 12,000lt, between the main and wing tanks. Bit of pressure too, as a buyer has turned up...

This happened before, about four years ago, but very little running time, just monthly checks, as the boat is mostly residential, but kept in sea going condition.
