lubricating locks

I have Python locks securing my kayaks,.
They live outdoors but under cover and are getting a bit stiff.
how best to lube them?

I’m not a locksmith but I was told years ago to use graphite.

nowadays you can buy it in a spray can rather than a puff bottle. I have one that’s several years old from Lidl and all the locks in my life get a dose now and again. Works a treat.

Any dry film lubricant.

An old pencil, scrape it all over the key and mash some up and put it in the tumbler. Must be like dust though... but as above, a dry lubricant don’t pack it with oily / greasy products
