I've been renovating a house in the South of France over the last 10 or more years and we're currently working on the kitchen. There's no mains gas in our village, so cooking is either electric or LPG. I'm not a big fan of electric, but have reluctantly agreed that we'll have an electric oven, mainly because there appears to be bu99er all availability of modern built in gas ovens.
However when it comes to the hob, I'm definitely having an LPG job. Thankfully there's plenty of choice, so no problem. What I'm really having a problem with is the choice of grill. Electric grills built into the oven are the work of the devil and I'm simply not interested. Ideally I want an eye level LPG gas grill, but they seem to be rarer than hen's teeth. The kind of grills that used to be fitted to gas cookers in the 80s and 90s would be fine for me. They do a job and do it well and simply. Does anybody know of an eye level LPG gas grill I can buy at a reasonable price?
