Around 30 year's ago I fitted a 140hp turbo engine to a fordson major back end . I had to make a chassis from box section and because the engine was originally in a D series ford truck it was angled at 30° so I had to adapt the sump for upright use. We used it to power a pto irrigation pump, the major PTO gears couldn't handle the torque. So I changed to a super major back end which was stronger. The farm went bust about 20 years ago and everything got sold off. Looking on marketplace tonight and there it is. Looking a little sad now.
