Just got myself a peashooter gas flow meter. Been wondering why my cylinders run out pretty quickly, I normally use the two-stage reg that shows bottle pressure and flow rate, set to about 10lpm
Put the peashooter on and the ball hits the end stop and stays pegged!, turn the flow down, down, down some more and finally get about 7-8lpm flow at the torch. At this setting the flow gauge is pegged at zero. Obviously that's where my damn gas has been going!
I've also noticed that my welds look a little better too.
One question though, when reading a peashooter, do you read the top, middle or bottom of the ball against the scale??
I used middle.
