Lorch Handytig 200 acdc control pro first tig welds

Just an update on my new tig machine Lorch Handytig 200 acdc control pro, got it from Lorch UK with great help from Matt1978 who is a member here and represents Lorch UK. I would like to say that so far i am very happy with service, communications and quality of Lorch products.

Today I bought some argon from Air Products (another great supplier) and i had my first try to weld some aluminium , it's 2mm thickness and 1050 grade.

Some pictures i have attached but please be gentle, i am new to tig welding

I'd love to try TIG but I just can't afford it. Can't get into it unless I can afford good quality equip. You can see the improvement through the pics, so imagine a few weeks from now with all that spare time practice you'll be getting in ;>>

You can see that you are beginning to pick it up already, the only way with Ali is practice....practice....practice, good luck with it.

I enjoyed welding today, it's a challenge but rewarding. Practice does make a difference. Just need to get the settings right and practice
