looking to buy a welder

hey guys,
i just recently joined this website. some inputs and advice is much appreciated. i’ve been watching youtube welding videos and notice this longevity unit (link removed). with some free time in february i want to start on some car projects. there’s so much that I can spend for a unit and this seems to fit my budget. please let me know what you think about it. thanks.

Hi Joe,

Its usually considered good manners to declare your professional interest if you work within the trade! Maybe I am wrong, but it seems quite a poor attempt to name drop a particular brand I only say this becasue your first ever and so far only post on the forum is a post recomending a particular brand.

In any case the OP is from Ohio, which one would assume is the Ohio in USA. Do GYS have representation in the USA??

It also looks to me like the OP is all about promoting Longvity welders??

Thanks Matt. It was indeed yet another Longevity Welders spam. We get a lot of spam from them. Only 20% of links to Longevity have been genuine so they are now on the censor list.

It's definitely a very good idea for manufacturers to declare vested interests on here. That way they can join in.
