looking to build a kids trailler type thing

Hello,
I am just back from holidays in Holland and the kids loved playing around in one of those
trailer type things with a steerable bit on the front 2 wheels. I have no idea what they are called, can anyone help as I am looking for plans to build one myself.
I have checked google but as I dont know the names of these things searching throws up a lot other stuff....
I think the US have something similar called a 'red radio' but I am not sure of this. These US style ones are all metal I think, I would like to make the wooden ones with a welded frame. It looks like a nice easy project.
Any help / plans appreciated.

They were called little red wagons oddly enough There's a sit and ride toy called the radio flyer. Lots of pictures about but not seen any plans. Just visit a garden centre and copy one of their trolleys. Wagonworld website.

Not sure what access you have to Sky TV but there is a program called American Restoration and one of the episodes was about exactly what you plan, they renovated the chassis and built a new box out of pine.

Knowing the repeat frequency of Sky programs it will probably appear quite often.

The episodes are also on youtube but you would have to surf through them.

Thank you all for the pointers, I will probably make my own plans.
I am most interested in the steering mechanism.
I dont have sky but you tube will be searched.
The ones I saw in Holland were not red but were the wooden type ones.
I would prefer to make one of these and not the US metal style ones.
I will post any plans if I find them but I have not found any so far...
Looking on the wagonworld site the US ones I referred to are called radio flyer.

could you not use the stearing showen in that drawing then make a top of your own design? if you look http://www.machinemart.co.uk/download/gt2.pdf at the PDF it shows how to assesble the axle

thanks madkayaker, this is exactly the sort of thing I was looking for.
I have two ideas for the steering one quite simple, an axle and a pivot
in the center with nylon washers and the other more like a go carts steering...
I also need to look at the cost of the metal as I have found some on fleabay
for about 80 euros..... but that would be much less fun!
