Hi everyone, this is another one of those threads as you probably know by now..

I'm about to pack in a sub contracting job for a particular ermm... P - taking company.. I have done work for them for 2 years and its getting to a point where their expectancies of the finished jobs are exceeding pay received.

Mini rant over!

I can make repairs to MOT failed vehicles, make basic shapes from sheet steel for patch repairs, (please look at my albums in my profile for more of an idea)
MIG welding from 1.6 - 6mm plate and Arc welding steel 3mm - 10mm plate.

I have all my own gear (apart from decent welding plants, I own a cheap MiG and a buzzbox) Overalls, snips, grinders, visors etc all ready.


I briefly worked with F.J member of this forum, I'm sure he could put a nice word in for me
I can travel, Worsley, Wigan, Eccles, Altrincham, Bury, and Bolton.

I happend to read the thread below this one which at the time was the " Its strange but has a ring of truth in it." thread ..I'm still smiling .

I hope you get or make your own employment .

May I suggest perhaps write out you SWAT analysis ( strengths , weakness and traits ) then write your own original CV not some crap off the internet.

That way you'll have a lot more confidence as to who you are and be able to get it across to people who matter
