Looking for some washers

I'm looking for some washers and have not found them so far either online or at my local fastener supplier (who are usually quite good). Looking for M4 x 22mm, ideally. Anything from about 16mm to 24mm would do but the hole in the middle must be 4mm. BZP would be fine. They don't need to be stainless - I have come across a couple of stainless ones in suitable sizes but they're too pricey as I hope to be using hundreds of them.

Any ideas where to look next?

Penny washers is how I would normally refer to them. They are normally 25mm diameter. Found some Binging for M4 penny washer but they are described as 25m diameter which might be a bit big.

Here, large washers are called fender washers.

Thanks. I had been searching for "repair washers" and "penny washers". I hadn't heard the terms "service washer" or "spreader washer" before so I'll try those. We don't tend to have "fenders" over here but I might pop that into the search and see what happens.

20mm copper coated steel washers are available for 1p each (you just have to drill a appropriate size hole)

Thanks, guys. Yes, I came across the description "mudguard washer" as I was searching.

Appearance is moderately important and copper-plated ones probably wouldn't have looked right, especially once they had tarnished.

M4 x 20 was the size I came across in a few places. The cheapest I could find were some stainless ones on eBay, which worked out at 4.3p each. They'll do. I found some BZP ones but they were no cheaper and postage costs were high for quantities of only 500-1000.

I had thought about buying ones with a smaller hole or no hole at all but even stacking them in the lathe and drilling a number at a time would add up to a fair bit of time and effort and I didn't want to knacker the plating (not a problem with stainless, though).
