Looking for some EN19 bar in short lengths

As the title says really, I'm looking for some EN19 bar that hasn't been hardened (I understand this is known as 'T' condition), preferably in short (8" or so) lengths.

I've done the usual Ebay and Google searches without turning much up, am I missing somewhere obvious? Any advice would be welcome.

Hi Scott,

Sorry, it's round bar I'm looking for. I haven't got the exact dimensions as yet but I'd guess 1.5" - 2" diameter, should know more tomorrow when the postman has been.

The finished dimensions required are 200mm in length and 22.2mm diameter.

Sorry to hijack but i have a very similar question, i need to make a round plate of diameter 175mm by 15mm thick out of en24t plate, does anyone know where i might get a piece to make this ?

Yes hotrodder i seen all those sites , but some of them look like very large businesses and i have experience of trying to buy a small amount of material from big stock holders, when they ask you on the phone how many lorry loads of it you want you know you're wasting your time. I'll get onto them on monday and see if i can get what i need.

thanks for the info metalsupermarket at Gateshead they have the bar I want. about a £1.00 an inch plus vat I'm working up durham on Friday so can call in. friendly helpful bloke even looked in the scrap bin if there were any short lengths

I used to use them a lot, was only litteraly 5 mins down the road. Now ive escaped to the sticks, not so often. If i want stuff from them now, i ring up order, pay, then he loads it in to my mrs car, when she visits her mother. Not the cheapest but very helpful.

Sometimes hell let you in the scrap bin too, for welding practice honest

Was also looking for EN19T, found a good supplier in (2018) , http://www.jenkinssteel.net/ which offers short lengths.
Good price on EN19 and no crazy delivery costs.
