looking for mcpherson strut aluminium front uprights

I am looking for mcpherson strut type aluminium front uprights from a production car its for a project car I am planning I need something that I can make the steering arm detectable. anyone know of anything.

renualt clito sport 200 has a hub carrier that the hub pivots on the strut upright and the strut stays straight ahead

Think you're going to struggle with that. Plenty of ally ones that clamp the strut but no bolt ons.

What is wrong with steel ?
Accepted it will be a little heavier but even the difference between levels on fuel tank will be more than the difference in weight of alloy v steel upright.

Have you thought about a fabricated steel hub like a old formula ford Knuckle? they can be light and tough and not too hard to make. Keep in mind ally is about half as strong as steel so you need twice as much of it for a given load....very roughly speaking.
