Hi all.
Looking for a welder, as my current SIP Migmate is just eating up all my project time by being far too temperamental!
I have gauntlets, auto dimming Parweld helmet, reels of wire so I dont need to budget for them.
Mainly doing auto repair work with 1-1.5mm steel and although I dont envisage welding substantially thick pieces, it would be nice to have a wee bit of headroom for heavier work.
Id say my budget is about £300. Had a look at a couple of Clarkes in Machine Mart the other day (135TE and 151EN), they seemed not bad but havent had any experience of them. Are either of them worth getting, or is there something else round about that budget I should be considering?
Thanks in advance
